Privacy

Respect, permission, and practical protection.

This plain-language summary describes the privacy principles used by the ETSS website and support experience.

Information you choose to provide

ETSS receives information you intentionally share when you call, email, request service, open a helpdesk ticket, or begin an attended remote-support session. Please do not send passwords, security codes, payment details, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email or a helpdesk ticket.

Remote support

You approve each attended remote-support connection and can end the session at any time. Unattended access may be configured only as part of a covered service and with explicit agreement. Close private documents and sensitive accounts before an attended connection.

Essential Sentinel and monitoring records

When a plan includes an ETSS-owned Sentinel appliance, the service agreement identifies what it monitors and what it does not. Covered network, device, connectivity, Wi-Fi, backup-status, power, and environmental signals may be recorded to provide alerts, service history, asset records, and monthly reports. The appliance communicates outbound over encrypted HTTPS.

Helpdesk records

Support requests and service history may be stored in the secure ETSS helpdesk. The information is used to coordinate and document requested support.

Outside services we use

The website links to service platforms used to provide remote support and ticketing. Those services operate under their own privacy and security terms.
